Pinterest Project #4 - Autumn Wreath

My latest Pinterest inspired wreath was for Autumn. I made this one to go inside above a bookcase. I tend to have seasonal wreaths or pictures there & needed something when I put out my fall decorations. I got all of my pumpkins, gourds & picks from Michaels on sale with a coupon - I love that place! This one is really pretty - the colors really pop and I've enjoyed looking at this for the past 2 months.

The original project with instructions is lost but I basically took a grapevine wreath and hot glued plastic pumpkins & gourds on it and then added berry picks. It was really easy and looks fabulous!

Pinterest Project #3 - 4th of July Wreath

Can you tell I love wreaths? My 3 Pinterest project was a 4th of July wreath with burlap & felt flowers. For the banner I cut up a dollar store flag into triangles & hot glued them onto yarn.

Here is the original project with instructions:

My burlap ended up a little too bulky. I may redo it next year. But the banner & flowers were really cute.

Pinterest Project #2 - Yarn Wrapped Wreath

My second completed Pinterest project is a yarn wrapped wreath with felt roses. I wanted something for spring and had some leftover pink & turquoise yarn. It really brightened up my front door.

Pinterest Project #1 - Paper Heart Wreath

I'm in love with Pinterest - I look at it at least once a day to find new craft & decorating ideas. I'm going to start posting the Pinterest inspired projects I've made.

The first thing I made was this paper heart wreath. The original project with instructions is here: http://www.thehybridchick.com/2011/01/paper-heart-wreath/

The only thing I did different was to use scrapbook paper. The kind I used wasn't double sided so I glued strips back to back. It turned out well & was a cute Valentine's decoration.
