Well, it's almost April and the Midwest is having a blizzard. Parts of Kansas have seen over 2 feet of snow today. Here in the KC Metro we've had ice topped with snow. We had freezing rain for what seemed like 4-5 hours and then snow that hasn't stopped yet. It has been beautiful to watch but sad for all the pretty flowering trees that are now coated in ice. In particular the redbud trees that were just about to pop open; I'm sure they won't now.
Here are some pictures of the snow at our place; at one point the snowflakes were as big as snowballs - it was stunning!
